Primary 2 and 3 have been working hard and using various different techniques to create these fabulous pieces of Autumn Art. To begin, each child sponge painted the background of their picture adding in details like clouds. Then using fine tipped paint brushes they proceeded to paint their tree.
Primary 2 explored autumn colours using leaf stamps.
Primary 3 created their master pieces by using crayon sharpenings, focusing on autumn colours and melting these using baking paper and an iron (they were all very careful and always under one to one adult supervision).
I think we can all agree that they turned out beautifully.
