Good News Everyone!
At St Theresa’s we are proud to say we are a finalist at the Families First North West Awards towards the end of October and would love you to leave a comment about our wee school and why we should win.

We have been recognised for wonderful efforts during Lockdown to provide a strong online curriculum during the period of remote learning, as well as the togetherness we show in the community.
So why not leave a comment for the judges and you can do this up to and including Wednesday 28th September.
To help you out here’s a wee reminder of what we promoted during that time to help support our children and families. We hope these memories bring back a smile to you for what was a challenging time for everyone and prompt you to tell the judges more about it.
? Our use of Seesaw, Teams and other ICT tools such as Daily Tutorial Videos, voice overs, and powerpoints to help with teaching and learning
? The availability of staff who were always there to help
? Celebrating children’s achievements on Facebook, Twitter and our school website
? Being appreciative of our families for their hard work
? Live Class meetups, Live lessons and Live assemblies
? Trying to bring fun to children’s learning during such difficult circumstances
? Always thinking of our children and their pupil well being
? Creating a variety of innovative ways to inspire our pupils with the help of outside tutors such as Gloria Perry of Urney Creations Art, Relax Kids Edel County Tyrone, Emotional Literacy Workshops with Michelle Young and Ink Wing Academy, Play therapy resources by Louise Little Mess Tyrone, Get Up and Dance with Carmel Garvey and Musical Sing Songs with Miss Una. The list is endless and let us not forget how our excellent staff also went the extra mile!
