What's the Craic?
Over the last school term the children in Primary 5/6 have been learning about Africa. At the start of this new term they have started to learn about their own country of Ireland. We have introduced this topic by looking at various towns and city’s the children have visited in Ireland and talked about Irish tourism, now that everywhere is opening up again. Everyone then wrote a postcard to a person of their choice, telling them all about their visit in detail. Some children talked about historical landmarks throughout the Island of Ireland, famous beaches and all the fun places they had been. We will be studying this topic further over the coming weeks. Just look at all the lovely postcards the children created for our display. There was plenty of craic
